North Macedonia’s health ministry published an official transsexualism treatment guideline. Schools later dropped gender-identity language.
On 30 November 2013 the Ministry of Health adopted an evidence-based-medicine guideline on treatment of transsexualism (decision 07-9039/2). The ministry still lists it under Psychiatry. The text describes diagnosis, social and legal transition, hormone therapy, surgery, psychosocial support, and follow-up. The framing is adult sex-change treatment.

Schools. The Assembly’s April 2025 amendments to the Law on Primary Education were published in Official Gazette No. 74 of 8 April 2025 (LDBIS amendment id 69994). The enacted text replaces “gender ideology and gender identity” with equality between women and men, and it removes sexual- and reproductive-health language from Article 48. That is a Schools restriction.
