Colombia has a proposed bill. It is not law.
Proyecto de Ley 211 de 2026 Senado, styled Ley Laura, Niños No Experimento, would prohibit puberty blockers, opposite-sex hormones, and sex-rejecting surgeries on people under 18, with an exception track for precocious puberty and congenital sex-development conditions (DSD). The Senado Sección de Leyes is the official bill register. The bill has not been enacted.
Corte Constitucional T-218/22 treats gender-identity health care, including for adolescents, as part of the right to health. That judgment is the court record. This card does not treat T-218/22 as proof that children are being given puberty blockers today.
Schools. Ley 1620 de 2013 creates the Sistema Nacional de Convivencia Escolar y Formación para el Ejercicio de los Derechos Humanos, la Educación para la Sexualidad y la Prevención y Mitigación de la Violencia Escolar. Artículo 20 requires pedagogical projects of educación para la sexualidad in every educational establishment.
